Bachelorette weekend!

I literally have six friends getting married this year. I have already been to 4 bachelorette's, and two of them were last weekend! Here are some photos of our fun and cute festivities. One of my friend's who is a bridesmaid for the bachelorette did an amazing job of decorating and setting up the first party. I was in charge of desserts (including candy) so you can see what I contributed!

Jake plus Liz! How sweet--and beautiful flowers
Puffy paint cups! The amazing bridesmaid hand decorated these for us. There are packages of glow sticks for each of us to wear throughout the night. It was an awesome idea as we could find each other at the bar all night!
 All of her beautiful gifts!
Cute cupcakes

I filled mason jars with her favorite candies and placed them around the room. This one is peppermint patties
This mason jar has gummy bears....
This one has dark chocolate m&m's

The bride all dressed up to go out for her final fling!
Me and the bride. Love all of us and our friendship over the years.
Really good friend---she put this party on!
Liz getting excited as she walked in

We rented a trolly bus to drive us around! It was awesome.
It had so much space for us to hang out and dance!
Liz got on stage to dance with the band and play guitar--they give special treatment at the bars when you are decked out like she was!

 Dancing on the trolly bus!
Making breakfast the next morning. We tried those egg muffin in the muffin tins I have seen all over Pinterest. Basically one of the bridesmaids cut up a ton of veggies, meat and cheese and we put it in the tins with eggs and they cooked up into yummy mcmuffins that we put in between english muffins.
And a huge fruit salad, of course.

And cute cookies that we saw on Pinterest!

I had a friend/designer ice them for me because I don't have any of the supplies to do that....and plus I had a ton of other baking to do and no time!

Bachelorette # 2 of this weekend----my camera was dying! So there are far fewer photos. For this one we went to the Blow Out Bar in Portland and got our hair done and then went out to a lounge and then dancing. Most of the girls stayed in a hotel that night but since I live downtown I just went home. It was super fun! I think the blow out bar was a great idea!

 Tricia---the MOH---getting her hair done
Leslie---the BRIDE! Sitting next to me getting her hair done
 We had cupcakes
And bellini's!

The bridal party after they got their hair done. Yes the bride is doing that. She is just like that, haha.
All of us at the bachelorette party at the Blow Out Bar! We rented it out so we could all hang out and have some drinks and food before going out and after our hair was done.
Me and Tricia with our hair did. It was fun to get all dolled up and not have to do it ourselves! A friend even did our make-up. So fun.

I love Bachelorette parties because it is a great excuse to get all of your really good girlfriends together and do something fun. I know it's the last single night out but to be honest, since I have gone to 4 this year, I have loved them for more reasons than she is getting married. I have seen friends I haven't seen in ages and spent quality time with my closest friends. I have done fun things that I wouldn't normally do like rent a party bus, a trolly bus or get my hair done and eat at fancy restaurants. Yes, the cost is high of going to all these parties but it is so worth it to do these fun things with my friends! It is really nice that the occasion of someone getting married brings us all together to do super fun stuff!
What kind of activities did you do at yours or your friends Bachelorette parties?

I'll be at a bachelorette bash this weekend in Portland and we are partaking in a spa day followed by dinner and Darcelle's. Should be loads of fun!

Ahh! So fun! I love bachelorette parties too. Mostly because you have an excuse to act like you're still in college! Haha!
