After the Duck game on Saturday a big group of friends and I went camping at Devil's Lake through Monday afternoon. We had a ton of fun on the beach and at the campsite.

Devil's Lake is near Lincoln City on the Oregon Coast. We ate lunch at Mo's one day, which is famous for Clam Chowder, and hung out on the beach for hours. Us girls liked watching the guys play football and relaxing/napping. There is something about camping that I love. I love sitting around the fire and letting the conversation drift in so many different directions over the course of the evening. I love cooking over the fire and on the propane stove. I love when it gets dark and us girls stumble to the bathroom and back together with our flashlights. I love how cold it gets even though I hate it---something about wearing layers upon layers of sweats in the summertime gets me. I love making smore's and bonding with my friends. This time we had a couple of different groups of friends come together to meet each other and it went so well! It's so awesome when different groups of friends come together and make one big group. I had co-workers, old friends, new friends and their friends all together and we had a blast.
